I always loved the Pete 379EX. Something sexy about the classic lines to me. Add some tasteful chrome a few chicken lights, polish it all up, and add a nice bumper and old school headlights and go truckin.

when people pay for a name to be decaled on a product, they DESERVE to get molested in how much they pay.

i have YET to buy a product that has a second name to it, case in point the Ford Harley-Davidson pick up truck....

what on God's good earth is so special..?? black paint and orange stripes, a little more chrome, maybe leather seats...??

ever see Hardley-Davidson bikes all chromed out and with special paint schemes on them , only NOT to get the full value..?? it's a bike ######, just like the truck.....what appeals to ONE does NOT appeal to another..

a "plain looking" truck to start with, and maybe the most MINIMAL chrome or stainless steel on it, will bring in better resale value that a truck all tricked out, as the owner would WANT all his money back...just ain't gonna happen, as the AGE and the MILEAGE and other MORE IMPORTANT things about the truck take precedence over all that glitters...

    in the end...??

it still ain't NOTHING but a TRUCK...a work horse.....no more....

when i turned wrenches for a living..?? Snap-On had Hardley-Davidson tool boxes...cost hundreds of dollars MORE THAN the standard tool box..what does one do when the Hardley-Davison decals get all messed up....?? can you sell something that is all messed up for the price you paid..?? i "hardley" think so.....

oh and to answer the o/p...i have always like the classic styles of the long nose trucks....brand specific..?? nope.....they are all mongrels put together by drones in a factory.

i was so happy when snap on came out with special boxes--cause it meant all the people with more money than brains would be buying them--then i could buy their trade ins off of the truck
i did have one new on tho--cause an old one--like about 30 years old--the bottom fell out and warrenty covered it--so i put in a bit to upgrade
then later traded that in on a monster box that had been used--but in new concition
cant remember the model #--it was the one that had no keys--just a number pad to open locks---oh and it was red

As Gears said, Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

This is my dream. Yet short of me winning the lottery or going back to CR England, it is only a dream.

if one were to hit the lottery, one would be better off turning in his license and retiring....why spend money on an item that depreciates, or work anymore..?? live a nice easy and quiet life......
