Stevens as much as we love'um, In that area does alot of frac-sand trankers. Maybe a good place for experience, don't know but worth checking out.
Best route to go?

pneumatic tankers in that area pay real well, dont know about stevens pay, but they do take noob's for training
okieboy78 Thanks this. -
The only negative thing I know about them in this area (SoCal) is there hill training. They like to take new drivers down the hill on hwy 58 between Tehachapi and Bakersfield slow enough that CHP considers them a hazard and has written them tickets more than once.
The deal is they show the new guy how to go down the hill, go back to the top 30 miles or so, and have the trainee bring it down at about 20 mph on a hill thats just not that bad, Oh yeah the trainee does it twice. On the other hand we've never seen them over heat the brake, and I have seen plenty others catch there brakes on fire down at the bottom of the hill.okieboy78 Thanks this. -

As far as the three 90's just to get across a acre of space You should try some of the places that are underground sometime. There is usually a wall that dictates how you back it. Sometimes that requires dropping box, then backing under it at 90 real gently and completing the backing from there. -
Never mind. Won't make a lick of difference anyway.Last edited: Apr 19, 2019
