    Hey everyone.

I drove over the road jan-jun of 2014 with transam and have worked a little over a month with my new company.

My new job isnt terrible at all but just isnt really working for a couple of reasons that I dont feel like typing up, but will if necesarry.

A big part of it is that I would rather just stay in a truck and cut out all the hours involved with the local job since i dont get paid bu the hour and just the time in transit to and from sucks.

I know i dont want to be a "JOB HOPPER", but I just want a better work/life situation and want a job with dental insurance (if possible if its actually good and not the bs i got thru trans am).

One company Im definately considering and putting an app in with is marten. A buddy had a job there and lost it due to 2 minor incedents he had but still recomends them.

Unfoetunately i dont have lots of experience and most of it isnt recent so not sure how that will play out.

My driving record is clean etc.

I would even consider teams if i could get home weekly for two days off or stay out solo past 5 days as long as I could get home for two days and not stay out longer than 10 to 14 days.
I have been looking at different xompanies but would like to here from ya'll especially if you have any personal knowledge or experience regarding working for them or know about how likely they are to hire me.

    Thanks.

Oh it doesnt have to be a regional job per se. Also i only have reefer, van experience but have a tank endorsement and no hazmat but would be willing to get one.

South East Carriers does West Coast runs and does not run Northeast.
A&R Logistics has weekends at home and make $62K - $72K plus don't need hazmat.
Quest Global hires with 3 months experience.

Freymiller will probably hire you and this company has a good reputation with drivers. This company hires new CDL grads and also hires drivers with a long gap in driving. The website has 6 mos. experience required, but they no longer require that.
    Also try:
    Big-M Transportation
    Dartco - has Southeast regional
Paschall Truck Lines - pretty good and the only complaints are from lease to own drivers. Lease to own is using poor judgement.

I worked for Big G Express for a couple of years. They are a great company based out of Middle TN. Home every weekend, decent pay, good benefits, lots of drop and hook, top notch equipment that is well maintained. I only left to get a local job, but if I ever decided to get out on the road again, they are the only company that I would consider. They run 95% east of the Mississippi. A lot of out and back runs to Jersey and PA, but no NYC.

One driver from Mobile drives for SouthernAg but hasn't posted in a few months. He really likes the company.

Dartco is the company trucks for Dart Transit, Eagan, MN. Those company trucks were previously known as "Allpoints, Inc". I worked for Allpoints several years ago (more than 10) and Dart treated the company trucks pretty well. I was with them almost 5 years, and if they would have had a SE regional back then, I would probably still be with them.

By the way, I'm surprised China didn't ask where you are located, so I will. In order to give you a better idea of what's available to you, where are you located, @Smooth_Operator ?
