Just looking at paperwork on mine from March 07 had 825 k leaking oil outside from head. Basic OH kit Level 1 included injectors plus 2 counterbores and 2 liners plus reman Head $1300. Total bill parts and labor $8905. I bought Jan 08 w/ 875k. Was Leary of deal had it pressured tested as seller had 5 empty antifreeze jugs in back of his Blazer!!! Almost 11 yrs later and at least 1.2 or 1.3 mil miles still has good oil samples.Blow by so bad looks like it’s on fire sometimes. Uses/ Leaks 1 gal @ 3000 miles (good oil sample?) put 2 injectors and oil cooler gaskets still has original bull gear.Runs good Ran out of fuel when I first bought it in construction zone drove it 1/2 mile on pure ether in sub zero Weather. Probably glazed cylinders. I think I welded the head onto block as it got locked up after getting off I-95 from all the ether!!! I know that’s so wrong but was so mad I really didn’t care at the time. I can’t believe it’s lasted this long. The mechanic must have done it right. He’s in Searcy Ar. Thinking of taking it back for another O.H.
