Was complaining about Illinois truck plate fee's one day, & someone mentioned that I should register the truck in Maine. Not sure though how you register a business & plates elsewhere though.

I live next to the ocean on the west coast and I am divorced so I have no reason to ask an employer if I can drive his truck to the 'end of the line' for a few days off. I'm currently going to trucking school so I don't know anything, that's why I'm in this forum. So if I'm on the road 28 days a month, I only need a room and it may as well be somewhere where the truck traffic is. That's my logic anyway, it's like starting my life over except my dependencies start with my potential future employer. Thanks for the information, I appreciate it.

Yeah, i've always heard that Nevada had better laws than the other states for business protection, etc.
