I'm currently driving solo under a manager who, though I feel micromanaged by, isn't as bad as some others I have heard of. I am in the process of signing up my former co-driver to join Interstate, and then will switch over to Team Drive with him. We really want a FM who will give us 6000 miles pretty consistently, and who isn't constantly bugging us every 5 minutes. Neither of us work well that way. We are great at self-managing.
A month or so ago, I ran into a woman in the French Camp yard who said one of the Team FMs is giving her teams 7000 miles, and usually has 3-4 loads lined up at a time, so you can see your whole week in front of you. I LOVED the sound of that. 7000 miles is a little more than we were hoping for, but it would be better than dropping below 6.
Anyway. If you have driven Team for Interstate recently, or are doing so now, please give feedback on your FM.
Thank you!
