I got a 96 Pete with 4.10 gears in it. Currently I'm runin 11R22.5 but im thinkin of changing over to 11R24.5 A friend of mine has the same truck with 3.90 gears in it and he runs 11R24.5 so I would think I should be able to as well.
Best tire size for 4.10 gear ratio

11r24.5
what kind of application will you be using this truck for if otr 80k max may consider a re-gear -
Its a transfer. Mostly on road driving like paving and dirt, gravel etc...

then i would probably leave the rears alone and switch to 11r24.5's should be a nice combo for that kind of work.
chinotelarompe Thanks this. -
yeah I think so too. My log truck has 11R24.5 on it and it has smaller rears on it. Thanks for the input.
