Hmmm I do see alot of fuel trucks comming from the port area. guess I should stop one and see who they are hauling for but for some reason I think most ive ever seen were company trucks. guess it would be something to look into. thanks

guess a reffer would make alot of sense due to strawberrys, orange, tomatoes and other fruits. Were would you get the load form would be the question who processes stuff like that for transport? The farm would take it to who?Sorry for the noob question we come from the construction side of hauling and as we all know that is dead.

perhaps you should be visiting some of the farms, packers and plants and making relationships to haul loads out of FL. otherwise you will be looking at crappy rates on load boards just like every one else. FL is a bad place to be starting out. Until you build those relationships, you should probably be hauling freight around north of I-10 until you need to go home because you will not make any money south of I-10.

Thanks for the advice L.B. I see work around my area for flatbeds seems to be more than anything else for some reason. Also I belive you can make money anywhere its lazy people that dont put in that effort and expects everything to just come to them that cant make any money. Also looking at an expense standpoint a flat would be alot less of a risk and investment than a reefer. #### choices!
