So you are a new O/O and you have no idea what you’re doing ? So you decided to pick our brains in this forum to do your homework for you ? First of all , you do know it’s an “election” year, and if you have followed throughout those time period, it’s slow, second incase you’ve been under a rock, we are in an inflation and trucking has suffered the most. Times are really bad for this industry. But there are many like you that want to jump ship and join the Dark side. Goodluck with that, let’s us know how it works out for you. And don’t run out on us like many do and disappear.

Seem to be a lot of these that run local

    These too:

Then there's people like me who use one of these but only during the summer and about 300 miles a day per trip:

Dump is probably the most cut throat, rat race section of the trucking industry

Depends on what you want to do, and the market demand in your area.

Get you a magic 8 ball. Rattle it around it has as good a chance as we have with the limited info you’re putting out. Instead of asking those that have no clue…..you didn’t even give us a chance as in no idea where home base is. Why not got hunt up the people hiring local trucks in your area and see what they pay

@timbuck4212, don’t run off quite yet, like already mentioned, you need to give us more details on your location if you want any decent replies, suggestions. We are not a bad crowd, we just like to poke at the newbies from time to time ;).WELCOME to TTR. :)
