I just don’t see how you’d get enough weight in the front hopper without being heavy on the trailer axles. And you probably would be into the landing gear on the trailer before you were under it enough to max out your axles up front. There’s a company from KS that runs 4 axle Cascadias with short tandems but their trucks are longer. They have an 11ft spread from their lift axle to rear drive axle. Not sure what all they haul or how they balance out. But what you want to do can be done, you’ll probably need a longer truck than what you’re thinking thought just to get everything spaced out.

Personally I’d just get a triple. They load a lot easier.

I believe you guys are right. It sounds like a lot less headache with the triple as far as loading legal. Is there a difference in the 46'6" Cornhusker spread compared to the 50', 51', and 53' spreads? Or asked another way, can I buy that overload permit for 90K and run a Cornhusker 46'6"?

You need 6 axles to permit 90k. My Timpte was a 48ft triple and I’d load to 90k and was never measured or anything. But if you ever got measured technically you’d need a 50ft triple.
