Even though none of these are a replacement for a home cooked meal what does everybody think is best. Dennys/ country pride or iron skillet. These are not the greatest restaurants but not the worst either, they all beat McDonald’s/subway/Taco Bell etc.

There is one west of Tuscon AZ towards Spotted Wolf, about a hour west. I forget the place name and its been many years now.
Any number of GOOD places to eat have gone by the wayside or were paved under by now. I generally fall back onto the PA Dutch Country, not necessarily a formal truckstop diner but they allow a acre or two where you can get a big rig in. If you left there hungry it's yourn own fault. =)Team818 and luddybuddy Thank this. -
I think all 3 are crap in general but there are probably good examples of each. Some iron skillet and country prides are very good but the one in Galloway Ark? Haha, that skillet is ran by crackheads.
I'd choose Denny's because at least you can still order something for breakfast there for about 5 bucks. My wife wants just eggs and bacon at iron skillet they make her order the meal for 10 bucks because they don't have that option even though it's 5-6 dollars at Denny's with Pancakes too.MadScientist and Deere hunter Thank this. -

Come on, how can some one screw up Bacon and Eggs?
Deere hunter Thanks this. -
The Big Boy's in Kenly has always been a go to even before the remodel. Everyone there is great and the parking is free! Food ain't bad either.

Country Pride and Iron Skillet are pretty much the same but with a different name. I’ve only seen them in the TA/Petro chain. Denny’s is on a whole nother level. That being said, usually hot food is only served in their peak hours, so expect microwaved food if going there outside of peak hours.
Team818 Thanks this.
