    The whole front of engine needs stripped down. You have two gear bearings (bushing). One on bull gear and one on cam idle gear. Yes on front seal.

    Ok cool I appreciate your help, I’ll look into doing both gears over the weekend here. I also spoke to Peterbilt they’re gonna exchange this 10r8502 I bought for another, so I’ll get that tomorrow. I don’t have ET so hopefully I can get someone that can get them to run evenly. You read so much on here about the 6999 and 5232 so I figured that was the way to go. Our cat shop here in South Carolina refuses to touch my truck and most shops around here besides 2 are pretty shotty shops. I’ll keep you guys updated. Thanks for the help!

    Does the front motor mount need to come off the front of the motor to get to the bullgear ?
