Could a Kenworth T680 hold up on the lease roads if I don't drive like a jagoff?

Yeah. Just keep the speeds down. My old KW handled it just fine.

Halliburton has a lot of t680's,they might be specd different than yours, the quarter fender mounts broke a lot on the Halliburton trucks, just take it easy. They run Bridgestone tires on almost everything, they hold up ok.

How long are waiting times on average? I've heard 5-30 minutes, but I've also heard you better have some entertainment in your truck to keep you occupied for 5-6 hours of waiting most days.

One must remember that these company's have a We would rather you waiting on us rather than us waiting on you.
They could care less about you.

You better have food and water in addition to entertainment.

They have a ton of poor reviews from drivers saying they have way more drivers than loads... have you worked for them?

Sand dried up around Shreveport La a few weeks ago.
A few come down to South Louisiana to get in on the oilfield hauling.
They are finding out their is not much hauling going on.
Chasing a check just like everybody around the country.
Today I see a ad for sand box O/O up in Shreveport ?
I know of a few Coil Tube outfits looking for help.

Look into JRT I have a buddy there now. I left the oil field until we get a smarter president in office. Biden has screwed all of it to hell. I’ve worked for many of them company’s and some were great others not so much. Last one I had 3 truck in promised 26 a ton got running found out they lied and only dished 15. It’s over trucked. When I rolled my trucks out all truck stops and any spot a rig could fit was filled up doing nothing. Best of luck to ya in your adventure
