Best way to camouflage this crack?

On your glove box will be the build code and the exact color of paint. A dab of bondo and some OEM paint and you'll never know it happened.

 

Crack the other side the same way. It'll look factory.......

If it’s super glued solid. Brush pain into the crack. Apply as many coats it takes to fill it, making sure each coat dries before the next. When it’s above the surface of original paint, let it dry almost completely. Take a razor blade and scrape it level. Use 600 grit sandpaper, wet sanding lightly. They use 1000 grit wet sand lightly. Then use rubbing compound, Then use polishing compound. Then use Color back wax made for red paint if the color is off a bit to make it blend. Otherwise use Nu Finish to shine it up.

 

There was a time I had a small corner of bumper gone. They wrote me up a violation.

I told them I've had this for long time and many inspections, including recent one and was always okay.
Was told it's up to the officer, they can do whatever they want.

Meanwhile you go around the rest of the country and see trucks with whole bumper gone and truck held together with duct time and they get by somehow.

 

Without even reading the OP I was going to reply "Pull your pants up" but decided not to.

 

I remember ‘back in the day’ guys would cut the bumpers off in front of the steer tires.
