Yeah I wasnt there quite that long; but everything u said about Bestway was right on. Funny how they tell u that they have NO TOUCH freight, but if that freight gets damaged enroute (as it happened to me); then they expect u to pay for the damages. They promise u miles, but they dont promise fast turn around time on return loads. They pay u weekly, but they dont pay Hub miles and they limit your speed (by governor); thus limiting your pay and time it takes to get there. If u are late for whatever reason, your the first to blame. Mr M. Cummings - dispatcher there -nice guy, but hes pretty much impossible to reach. Nope. Never again Bestway. Your TOO LIBERAL for me. Politics & trucking just dont mix. And when u try too mix them, good luck on finding drivers. My advice to Bestway is that they might consider setting up a recruitment office in Mexico. Becuz before long, thats the only 'clientele' - ahem - i mean drivers, that u are going to be able to find. Well, hey u already have a head start. Pretty much your starting rate of. 32 cents per mile should be in Pesos. That pay rate is laughable. I dont like Bestway, and i shouldve gone with my gut instinct from the get-go with this company. Bestway SUCKS. Like I said - Never again... Aidios. Pendejo's.

Bestway sucks. They r a complete waste of time. Slow trucks , low pay, not as many miles as they boast , slow turn around time, brokered loads are common , they say no touch freight, but if something gets damaged enroute - they want u to pay the damages. If u get the truck stuck some where, u pay the tow truck driver to get your truck out. And there is NO reimbursement.

I wish y'all the best. Their dispatchers are decent folks. The pay scale is on the low end of the market for truck drivers. I would have to say that their so called "Bonus" is illegitimate. In order to even be in the pool for it you must maintain 6.2 mpg or more and also no idle time over 50%. Not all of the trucks have APUs. So those drivers are automatically withdrawn. Anyhow, they have 2001 - 2005 Volvos. Do they take care of them? I'd say "Yes, they do". Are they the best trucks? No sir. Governed at 62 mph. Crappy RPM when you're coming up on a hill. Don't even worry about sliding the tandems on some of those junk trailers that they have. It is pretty much impossible. They do have some new Freightliners that are Gliders. The runs are usually pretty short. PeopleNet is horrible. Overall, I'd say that the people there are all pretty decent. But as for a driver, I'd say that it is a dead end company to work for. You will never make any money. If you're okay with $500 to $800 a week, and I mean Gross income, then they are for you, but I don't understand how a driver can raise a family and support himself out on the road on that income. Don't forget about Old Uncle Sam getting a good chunk of that $500 - $800. Drivers have got to stand up for what they deserve. These three boys that run that company are getting loaded, pass some of that down the line to the guy that is making you all that money. American Business!

Ya, man they are a joke!!! There safety bonus program is a joke also!! I pulled tank pnumatic tank for 14 yrs for ww transport never had 1 safety issue. The 2 or 3 months I worked at bestway I had 2 or 3 a week, but they were all people net violations!!! I had never run a e log before and was still learning how to use it, but they didn't care they just send me letters in the mail saying I was in violation and lost my bonus. 1 month later I'm still getting letters for violations and I don't even work there anymore! LOL!! It's been bout 2 months since I worked there and I still cannot beleive how awful it was!!

They are a rotten company. Nobody in management has ever driven a truck. The safety director is a turd that would like you to drive 55. The put you in old trucks that they take on trade in. If you break down they bring you a worse truck. .31 a mile or salary. You will work 14 hours every day for less than $900. Avoid them at all costs.
