Gonna roll from Clinton, NJ @ 03:00 headed for Charlotte with only 8k in the box. With the winter conditions, not sure if I should run I78 on over to I81 to I77 fighting the traffic and mountains or I78 to I476 to I95 to I85 fighting flatter terrain but a gazillion people. Kind of a toss up. Recommendations?
Better routing thru this storm?

stay with the Crowd of people....It will be a touch slower, But Safer
You start going into the mountains.......You get 'comfortable' with less traffic...Which means a higher chance of something bad happening in the snow
I would hug I95 thru trenton/ philly/Balty/Richmond then its rain I believe after thatxlsdraw Thanks this. -
The one that happened last week was serious when I crossed Indiana. I only see snow powder forming behind my trailer. Windshield washer fluid won't spray on passenger side. The next day, I find out that there is ice in the hose. So I placed the hose onto the engine for couple minutes and it works. Made routes from New Englands to Midwest.

The Indiana toll road I-80 was poorly maintained.

I'd route as close to the coast as possible to keep out of the hills where most issues with others will occur. The further south you go the better things will get.
I got my last pickup in Hanover, PA a few hours ago and ran out of 14. Will head west for Oklahoma at 06:00. From NYC south and west, they will dodge the worst of this particular system. Roads aren't too bad here in SE PAxlsdraw Thanks this. -
Yeah...But you got 97 miles of 82% grade once you hit I-

I'm used to it here in Pennsylvania. I grew up here in Central PA.

Check hoses also. Cause ice can form inside the washer fluid hose if it contains water.
