To piggyback on the original post, Id like to ask if any suspension seats are better at absorbing shocks. I have a 2022 Cascadia and my seat feels more like I'm riding on a big spring then anything designed to absorb energy. When pulling a liquid filled tanker trailer with a spring suspension, the whiplash effect is taking a toll on my back.

I had Legacy Pros in leather w/the adapter plate in my Volvo 760. Loved them for 800 000kms. Swapped driver/pass at 400k to keep the wear even. Got them at Calmont Volvo for a great deal.

You're right. Isringhausen is an old German brand seat manufacturer.
They were once based in Michigan for the NA market. I'm not up to date on that.
The Minimizer was a rebranded version of the Isri seat.

It's a bit out of left field, but take a look at the seats from the International LT. Don't know if they'd install the same, but I found them to be the most comfortable seats I've ever used.

Some of the seats pointed out here on the websites mentioned look really comfortable, but unless you can actually sit in one before taking the plunge and forking out that money, you're really just rolling the dice on its comfort.
