Beverage/Food Service Delivery vs LTL Freight City Driver (P & D)

I deliver beer now... we’ll actually today was my last day.

I was so close to going into food service awhile back but ended up backing out. I’m now starting at FedEx Freight on Monday. I can’t tell you too much since I haven’t started yet but I do know that the work is easier on the body. I am so sick of rotating oversold product and humping kegs down to basements. Haha

LTL seems to have a nicer scheduale and also you still get a lot of the big holidays off. The foodservice company I was going to go work for only got 3 holidays off a year.

I did beer for 3 1/2 years. It’s a decent, honest job. I do think their is a lot better gigs out there though. Good luck.
