I'm no longer with them. Haven't been for a couple years now. They did have a few O/O's when I was there.

But you have to provide all your stuff.... Trailer, base plate, insurance... The only thing they covered was cargo insurance.

Hi, I have been talking with a recruiter from Jordan, and am looking into possibly starting orientation with them on the 15th. I am currently driving for Western Express, and I've had it with Western... I've got to get away from there before I go crazy! I know with the question I'm about to ask, I'm going to receive a lot of "if you have to ask, you shouldn't be driving a truck" comments. So please let me give some background information on myself before you jump to conclusions and start judging me. Let me start by saying that yes I was some what wild in my younger years, and I've most definitely made a lot of bad decisions in my life. With that being said, I have learned from each and every one of those bad decisions, and have came a LONG way in turning my life around and getting on the right track! Now, I will admit that I've smoked pot pretty much all my life right up until I started my driving career with Western Express about 8 months ago. When I decided to start a career in truck driving, I went all in, and took it seriously! Again, I've came a long way in turning my life around, and quitting smoking pot so that I could get, and keep a good job was one of the last steps in getting on the right track. I haven't smoked since I started driving, and I don't plan to ever again!!! You can think what you want, and you can judge me all you want... But I'm telling you that I am taking my career as a professional driver VERY seriously, and WILL do whatever it takes to make sure that I am successful. I feel like I've found my calling in driving a truck. I love what I do, and in the short time I've been driving, I'm already in the process of buying my own house! Now, I can honestly say, that for the first time in my life, I am happy to take random urine tests anytime, anywhere. Sounds funny, but I actually look forward to my employer sending me to take a random drug test, simply because I can take one with a smile on my face at any given time, and I'm quite proud of that. However, I am not yet comfortable submitting to a hair follicle test, and I know a lot of companies are doing hair tests now. A few more months clean and I would be willing to submit to a hair test, but as of right now the last thing I wanna do is fail a hair test for something I did months ago and ruin my career before it even gets going good. So with all that being said, can anyone please tell me if Jordan Carriers are doing hair follicle drug testing, or just urine tests?!?! Lastly, please don't let my screen name give you the wrong impression of me! I had a guy make the comment before that "by the looks of my screen name, I didn't need to be driving a truck anyway". I find it funny that people jump to conclusions when they see the word "junkie" and think it has to be drugs, when they have absolutely no idea what "Trance" is! BTW... Trance is a genre of music for which I have a deep passion for... Hence the word "TranceJunkie"
So please, if anyone can simply tell me whether or not Jordan does hair follicle testing, without judging, or jumping to conclusions as to what kind of person, or driver I am..... it would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks...

If you've partaken in the last 6 months to one year, don't risk it. If it's been longer than that time, you're golden.
