Beware of 1099 Companies

    I sent a copy of the contract to an attorney,and he just called me and said that they broke state and federal laws.
    first by misclassifying me as a 1099,and that i can get a lot more from them than they owe me.now its just a waiting game..Oh and have a website called top notch crooks,so when anyone
    googles Top notch transport Glendale AZ my site is number 6 on the list.http://topnotchaz.net/

    I have never seen a contract so unprofessional and Childish as this one!

    Even the 'Desperate' would fly away immediately(I would hope)

    Re-Read that contract that's posted everyone-S-L-O-W-L-Y....

    that is the Recital of a guy that doesn't even have his OWN life together let alone being ALLOWED to own a business, And Trying to Recoup Anything they can off of someone.....

    Why That Contract is even Allowed/addressed is beyond me.

    The first sentence is a red flag. This letter will serve as a contract!?
    They didn't even bother to use Microsoft Word for a generic contract template?
    Also, remember if there is any part of that contract that violates law the entire contract is null and void. An illegal contract cannot be enforced.

    I am glad you contacted an attorney. Sue them. You will win. Contracts are something that is entered into freely. When you are forced to take it or leave it a contract is not really enforceable.

    We all need to fight for our rights. There is a case going forward right now that will effect how mileage is figured. With GPS's we should all be paid for exact milage.

    Having never worked for a nest of snakes like this or any other 1099 company before, I can understand your lack of any frame of reference.

    Horror stories abound on our site about people like this.

    As was said, live and learn. Don't make the same mistake twice. Next time you hear "1099", get right up and walk out.

    This guy would have came out better if he would have just lost 15 pounds or did the sleep study.

    These guys said they would bend him over and that's just what they did. It's not about 1099. It should be about those who sign up to be taken advantage of, and then complain when it happens.
