I don't think she's being honest. If the suspension isn't on the application and they find it during school, they will send you home at your own expense.
Which companies have you applied to?

That suspension will be found even if it's not on your MVR. Trucking companies use some type of deep search. Here's some more:
Celadon
Swift
Carolina Logistics
MCT Transportation
Knight Transportation
Carter Express
Roehl Transportation -
Haven't heard of JP Miller; are they in Florida?
Something else to try: Google : WIOA Program Florida
This program will pay for cdl school, free to you. This program is for people in low paying jobs or unemployed. This program will require you to get one or two pre-hires before starting school. To get pre-hires just submit online applications to companies and some will pre-hire you contingent upon completing cdl school.
Here's some companies that might hire even with the suspension. They don't go by what's on the website.
TransAm
Florida Beauty Express
Carolina Cargo -
If you still want to try CRST, call their safety department and ask about the suspension.

They may say they won't release your training info until you pay them for the training but they CAN'T stop anyone else from hiring you. We need to get that rumor squashed. If you find that CRST is just not for you (and many drivers do) then find a better job then quit and make some arrangements to make payments on the training they provided you if you want to protect your credit.

The threat of litigation has scared off some megas, not all, and most smaller companies just yawn.
