He was banned for supposedly advertising his agency. Pretty weak if you ask me.

Isn't that part of what we do here? We are talking LS in these threads. We talk about what we can do and who we work with.

Adam is easy to get in touch with still. Find the OZR agency on FB and I would guess he is over on the landstar forum also, I have never looked for him on it and very rarely do I go on it.

Way off course. Not my position since I wasn't involved but let's just say another account was created and let's bad mouth a mod and forum like a crazed lunatic went on in size 7 fonts. So that person and his alter ego was shown the door. His numerous other warnings for a foul mouth, inciting arguments and even stalking didn't help him either. He was toxic and a handful.

I don't know the particulars, only what I was told by Adam. I do know the first time he was banned, it was for recruiting, by some Mod that had it in for him. I backed OZR up by VERIFYING he did work for Landstar, and that he was a mere agent, not a recruiter. He was then reinstated. I also pointed out numerous members that were actively recruiting on here, ignored by mods, to make my point. Every story has two sides. I have incited my share of arguments myself, namely because of so much ignorance that is posted on this forum.

I have no doubt that Landstar is making money off of elogs. When this first started, I was quoted $45/month. I am sure that Landstar is getting a much better price due to the economies of scale. This may become the law of the land, but I will stick to paper for my trucks until the ink dries on the law. There is still pending litigation and it will take time to go through the process. If this can be prolonged until, and if there is another administration, they might feel differently about all the excessive controls.
