I don't remember this load either. The color looks like they'd belong to the government? Have any details?
-
Here's just a few pic's of the so called cheap loads we're accused on here of hauling.
I have hundreds, if not thousands of pictures like these. Are all the loads we haul over $2.00 a mile. Absolutely not and if you're expecting over $2.00 per mile on every load in this type of business you're flat out dreaming. When I get some time I'll post some under $2.00 per mile pictures also.
1st pic is $2.92 per mile
2nd pic is $2.73 per mile
3rd pic is $2.86 per mile
4th pic is $3.28 per mile
5th pic is $5.00 per mile
6th pic is $5.06 per mile -
I don't remember where I picked those up Gary I'm thinkin Washington or Oregon but I do remember dropping them in South Texas for my goin home load.
Yes Navy trucks auctioned to an oilfield service company.
That's at the FlyinJ in Medford Oregon. -
Yeah maybe it was from Ft Lewis?
Just got offered a $3.00 per mile load, weighing 7,500 lbs, going 1,000 miles. And it delivered in a area we're most of our return loads are averaging $2.25 per mile. I wonder how many guys in this thread will say thats cheap freight. -
I don't remember what this paid me but I know it was sweeet.
Montana to Phoenix and was only like 1500 lbs.
The City of Phoenix purchased it. Had all weekend to get it there too.
Anj Thanks this. -
Gary, you would do better to put your efforts into fixing what is broken than for you and your friend to go back and forth here. There are enough folks on here that have not had a good experience with you to keep most of us from hiring you. In case you missed it all, they HIRED YOU, and you didn't give good service for the money they paid you. If someone that I hired blew up on me when I called, I would absolutely fire them. If I had to find my own load, that means your services are failing.
This is what people are complaining about, sitting and poor customer service. Not a good combination when they paid you to do it. No, I haven't used your services. No, I won't either, because enough people have had bad experiences with you.
Sorry but that is the way it is. You and your one friend are not going to change that. I do wish you well and I personally feel no ill towards you, nor do I know you. Just trying to help honestly. -
GearWarrant..With all due respect there is always gonna be times when you sit..It's the nature of the business. You can always find something cheap to haul. Or you can sit and wait on something that pays good.
There was a lot more going on in this thread than those issues as well. Some folks were just down right mean and have since deleted their posts. But don't worry I'm pretty much done here.Last edited: Apr 23, 2014

I wish you well Greg.
Greg2014 Thanks this. -
Now they're saying we haul cheap freight. What I'd like to know is, then why did some of these same people try to back solicit the same Brokers, and Shippers we work with at the same rate, and some for even less?
Because of this handful of people YOU say my business is broken. Have you ever considered that maybe they're the ones who might be broken? Maybe a few of these guys just couldn't be helped? Maybe a few of these guys had some very bad business ethics, or maybe they were just lazy? A handful of unhappy people out of hundreds, if not thousands we were able to help. I'd say we're doing something right.
