let me start with this dont get sick at tango if you do and have to go in the hospital for a week or more they will cancel your insurance and terminate you and you wont even know it till you get out.then when you come back to work they will put you on medical leave so there insurance wont have to pay the bill. the miles you get 2200 the first week and 1200 miles the next week.they will tell you it all equals out.home time if you take more than 34hour restart they will punish you.300 miles a day.detetion is you give them the first 3hours but at the 2hour mark they call the customer and tell them you just put in for detetion and they start loading you so you dont get any money.i got sick at tango.went into the hospital.i was there for i week,they cancelled my insurance and terminated me.they said i couldn't pass a dot physcal.how can i pass a dot physcal when i got 2 bags of medicine going into my arms at the hospital??.

Strange, I am off sick right now with a rash on both arms that doctors have not been able to cure (AND NO...I HAVE NOT BEEN PLAYING AROUND WITH "MARY JANE ROTTEN CROTCH") Have been down now for two weeks and have gotten quite a few calls from Tango asking how I am and if I want them to send me someone to mow my yard or if I need help getting something done around my home. All my permits, plates, and insurance are still good to go.
As far as the CSA score on Tango, yes it is getting to high. I think the fact that most of the drivers are on E-logs now makes them do things they shouldn't. Most of what I have seen on the CSA reports are for "unsafe driving" which if you will look at the inspection reports, you will see that the majority of the reports are for not wearing a seat belt and speeding, even though the trucks are governed at 65 mph. -
let me tell you about tango.first in 2006 i got diabetes i went into the hospital on august 1 then on august 2 i was informed by the hospital that checked on my medical benefits that tango had terminated me and cancelled my medical insurance.they put it down as i didn't pass a dot physical.how can i pass a dot physical when i am in the hospital with 2 ivy;s in my arms trying to bring my sugar down from 875.that's close to being in a coma.then when i got better tango offered to hire me back.when i came back they changed my status to medical leave.so i couldn't file a lawsuit against them.but stuck my this the $30,000 dollar hospital bill.now in march of 2011 the doctor informed me i had a tumor in my blatter and a inlarged prostate and the i needed surgery the doctor sceduled me for surgery for two weeks and tango sent to the east coast and wouldn't get me home for surgery.i had to get a lawyer involved to get home for my surgery.after i came back from medical leave.that's when tango the real punishment started.they put me on otr status and wouldn't get me home for three weeks.told me if i wanted to go home i would have to leave the trk at the terminal and get a ride home.i lived 100 miles from the terminal thats $75.00 round trip in gas to get home.plus i had to clean out my trk so they could put another driver in it even though they had 50 empty trucks sitting behind the shop with no drivers for them.don't come to work for tango you will be sorry you ever did.
Boondocks_4WD Thanks this. -
So not ONCE...............not TWICE...............but THREE different times they have "screwed" you over.......but yet you kept working for them.........hahahahahahahaha

Sound like a real bit load of (that stuff that bull haulers might have in their trailer) Cancel your insurance while you are at the hospital Tango is not self insured not even with their trucks let along medical. So how would they cancel it.
NWMAXI and losttrucker Thank this. -
Beware!! people write post on this thread that are owner ops which doesn't apply to company driver status so please disregard the remarks from owner ops because they haven't a clue of whats going on with company drivers because tango pampers them with good loads and kinda lets them do what they want.This is why they can get on here and bash company drivers.

I cant believe this guy is making fun of a man who almost lost his life,by saying he came back three times hahahah.This tells you what kind of mentality this person has toward fellow drivers. He would rather defend the company than hold up the hand of a fellow driver.This is so sad. I want to say Thank you Old time trucker looks like you been out on the road for quiet a while.Hats off to you and Im glad your doing better.

Pamper I wonder is that why they keep trying to keep me running up and down 71 with them heavy loads instead of sending them company trucks, or they though I would spend the weekend in that muddy yard in Coushatta while company trucks came in dropping and hooking loads all day company drivers coming in getting loads talking about going home even though i had just left home that Wed. but if I am going to sit over the weekend it will be at home and thats what I did went home and mailed them their decals and quadcomm. O/O had to deal with some of the bad but all in all it wasnt really that bad just half their loads put me over gross and I would have to take it back to the mill even on preloaded trailers and just got tired of heavy loads and low fuel mileage. Yes I could go home when ever I wanted but it is my truck and not costing them
And as far as not having a clue a lot of us O/O dont look down on company drivers I have talked to them and ran with them even at times I would prefered to go a little faster I even switched loads with a company driver so he could get home even though dispatch didn't like it but I got a little pushy with themBoondocks_4WD Thanks this. -
No hard feelings Mr. Plum its just some get on here and bash other without knowing the real truth about everything. They assume the other driver is lying when they comment on a company.I just wish drivers could hold together because if we dont the companies will just run all over us.Everything iv'e said on this thread is the honest truth and everything old time said is true also. God Bless hope you have a blessed day.

Why would anyone not want to return to work for them if they are so gracious? What you wrote is not common for a trucking company; I mean, most don't go that far to assist a driver. You always have to get two sides to a story and evaluate yourself. I work for a small company that is much the same in that they assist in personal matters.
By the way, you should use 'any' in negative and question sentences Not;
'WITHOUT NO ONE ASKING'. You should have written; 'without anyone asking'.
Also, after you wrote' 'not only that they.....' Here, you need a comma after 'that' so we know that there is a separate clause in your sentence and it is no so confusing.
