Maybe because the vehicles pulling the small trailer and are following the sign the says
>CARS
<Vehicles with TRAILERS.
I hated it when I drove Entertainer Coaches and would stop at Cracker Barrel and there would be BUS/RV parking and a bunch of cars would be parked in those spots.......
Beware of this truck stop menace (it's nation-wide!)

Then those signs are wrong....A half ton chevy with a ball hitch trailer does not make a "TRUCK"....It might be a vehicle with a trailer, but it sure as hell aint a truck. -
In most states the rules read any vehicle pulling a trailer is classified a truck. Seen a car in the far left lane with a small lawn trailer get a ticket for a truck in the wrong lane in Washington. -

If the sign says vehicles with trailers and trucks to one side and cars to the other, just where do you think the car with the trailer should go?
If they go to the car side, will you pay the fine for them? -

I've never ran into the issue with the greyhound in laredo, but I have seen quite the stir at the inspection station on NB 35 coming out of laredo......do some of those folks actually think the agents and dogs aren't gonna check?
