I'd be willing to bet some serious coin that check station makes a ton of busts just from the window lickers crossing over on the buses.

Hey-After spending enough years driving wreckers and being/getting up at all hours for mostly good reasons, sometimes stupid ones, there's no humor in a 2nd grade stunt like that AT.Maybe i'll be around here long enough to see a meaningful grown-up change in you.Maybe not.Take care.Brian

Since this is a thread about truck stop menaces......I hate it that truck stops nowadays have to have disabled parking spots. If you are disabled enough to have one of those stickers, seems to me that you shouldn't be driving a truck. The sad part is, most of the guys I've seen with the disabled cards in their windshield normally do not have any trouble walking and look to be in decent health. Seems that somehow they obtain on of these cards just so they have a reserved parking spot at every truck stop.

    You have xray eyes?

Some may have breathing disorders. Many disabilities are not visual.

a breathing disability warrants a disabled parking permit?

Why do you need that spot, too lazy to walk a little ways. If a driver has a disablity but can still meet all the requirements to drive. more power to them. I feel better about one of those drivers than the overweight, can barely move, drivers I see that makes me wonder where they got their med card at.

    Yes.
There are many causes that can do this.

Might be best to stop being judgemental if you do not know the reasons.

Bah! Curse you 3 charter buses pulling in to the Alabama welcome center and unloading your masses of teenagers all needing to use the bathroom. I sat in my truck and waited for them all to leave.

Don't mind seeing those myself, at least there's someone out trying to make a honest living instead of living off the taxpayer's dollar.

Well since we are professional drivers when a bus pulls into a rest area and the passenger all get out we should be professional enough to move right next to the bus so close they have to walk around it to get back on board. Then sit there until they are all gone. LOL
