I've only seen autonomous trucks working out at the BHP coal mines large Cat 797 around 400 metric tonne mark although they only do an average speed of about 45 km per hour roughly 28 mph. Just can't understand how the concept would work on an open road though, at the mines there are bunds put in to stop the trucks going where they are not supposed to go, can't see how an autonomous truck could travel at high speeds exit freeways, stop at traffic lights and make tight turns? And in the end someone has to physically be there to fuel the vehicle up.
Beware, you actually still drive for Werner!!!..lmao
