Dual feed fuel line. Cheapest and fastest way for 25 to 50 hp increase.

Because I find it comical that people still think that adding a second supply line to the head without any increase in fuel pressure adds power.

If an injector is lacking that amount of fuel because of lack of supply it will show other signs before that, maybe when people start pushing higher flow injectors it does become good measure as it becomes flow over pressure.

I think hes probley been drinking the same Kool aid as bruce Mathison pitts power.
Im with smokin on this, a duel feed might make it run smoother under a pull but 25-50 hp is a stretch.

Yes, koolaid for sure, just like pushing that everyone needs a 1.25" gear pump and also needs to retard the timing to make the same engine live because it no fuels at a lower rpm than any big cam should be pulled too.

There are factory 605hp engines that run standard 3/4" gear pumps and make that power at 1800rpm.

    swaan Thanks this.

Actually. The duel fuel line came from my grandfather in the old days. Cummins got it from him. Its about balancing fuel pressure. I will agree that yes improving fuel psi gains more. But i gave a short answer to a short question. I have compared on dyno. Ive been a truck tech longer that owner op. There is a lot you can do cheap. I dont believe you need to run fuel psi over 290. 300 tops. But cant tell anyone that. And yes my grand father came up with the duel fuel line installing a 190 cummis into white mustang that had a half track 250 gas. People called him nuts then. Then he added turbo to make a 220. And ran the exhaust thru the cab. Had the greated heat in the winter. But sucked in the summer.

Pressure depends on intended use, a road truck I would much rather use a higher flowing injector and keep pressure down.

My truck on the other hand most people would say the parts combo shouldn't work or even run without issues, but it does. Turns out with the right combo of parts NT88 cams can be used in older engines.

My custom injectors have a suggested max pressure of 375psi due to the enlarged fill port in the barrel so that is exactly where I run them.
