    I park my truck at my companies terminal when I go home and I’ve never dropped a trailer. And further more I see so many truck stops saying dropped trailers get towed but it never happens. I park at truck stops for 10 hour breaks or 34 hour resets or occasionally to empty my bowels.

    Well on trucker path it says paid parking and on google someone posted a picture of a sign saying its paid parking and even listed impound fee and where to pickup up your truck if it’s towed. Also I believe I read in some of the reviews the showers are expensive. I’m not supporting this criminal establishment.

    I have been to Big Charlie's many times over the past 30 years and I agree that it has gone completely to the dogs. There was a time that the parking was free, the sit down restaurant was decent and good food and I wasn't afraid for my wife to walk from the truck to the building.

    There is a reason for this downward slide here and it must be greed. Pay parking is not the way to go. It appears that they are bleeding this truck stop for what it is, the only one in the downtown area. I would stay north of the tunnel on Rte. 13, Frank's Truck Stop in Chesapeake, the TA's in Ashland or Sadler's in Emporia before I would spend 1 dime here. Let them go broke or deal with the locals.

    Sounds like it has definitely gone down hill since I was there. It may have been early 2018 last I was there.
