an ad in florida for a company based in northeast tn? you can bet your you know what you will never get home.

 

All kinds of companies run ads here in Florida, all the time. There are a lot of terminals here, you know.

 

Big G Express is a good company with about 300 trucks. I don't know their current starting salary, but at one time they were able to get most drivers home at least 1 day per week.

 

Their main office is in Shelbyville, TN, just south of Murfreesboro. They do have terminal near Johnson City, TN. They used to send a lot of trucks to Florida, but you will need to talk to them about getting home.

 

I get home every 11 days and my main terminal is in Wisconsin and closest terminal in Atlanta. Never heard much about them. The thread that's there doesnt sound good but who knows could be disgruntled drivers and the ones doing good there aren't on here or posted in a while. What I've seen are volvos with new trls passing me in the hammer lane while my truck does governed 63 mph

Big G Express is the best company I have ever worked for in the industry! Been driving since 98 and worked for 29 different companies during that time. One thing I will not put up with is being lied to it better be exactly as the recruitor says the company is going to be or I will walk every time! I have found the company I will retire at unless things ever change. This company truly believes in driver satisfaction! Of course if your lazy and don't want to work then this is not the company for you. During the week you run your tail off and home for the weekend!
