I love a 13 doubleover, if you can put up with the increase in 1st and reverse as someone mentioned earlier, this too depends if the suffix is A or B, A being faster all around. The way I look at it is if you don't need it you don't have to use it, but it's there if you do, where your now in 13th, you would be in 11th turned around, doing the same speed basically, with 2 gears to go. (and away we go and I mean gooooooo)

Back in my oilfield days, a ran a gin truck with a RTO-15 x 4 speed Brownie; both of which were 'turned around.' It had some ridiculously low geared rears (6.88? 5.88? way up there somewhere!) yet would run within a tick of 70mph. I tried not to think about just how fast that very large driveshaft was turning!

if it can be done DONT it makes to much of a rpm split and you wont like it. been there done that. wont ever do it again. 3.70 with 24.5 will drop your rpm appx. 100 rpms just like 3.55 with 22.5s.
