Had a good chuckle at the know it all in the flatbed forum calling everyone out for running unaerodynamic noses then saying he acknowledges super singles are more efficient but doesn't use them.

Didn't want to feed the troll so I'll chuckle over here.

I would like to know how much his moose bumper un Aerodynamics his awesome sloped nose pos truck. I would bet at highway speed the drag is no different than any other big hood truck. But if one argues with an idiot all that happens is you get drug down the their level and they beat you with experience.

This again but this time in Lodi, CA. Nothing like 77 miles to find parking.

Going to rent a car and see my mom tomorrow and hope for a load near the end of the week. Otherwise it will be back home again

    Yup

Thank god for the aerodynamics or I would never make it, if only I had super singles and really short side skirts - I might get 3.5 mpg loaded

I'm working with someone right now for multiple OS/OW loads that wants "exclusive use, round trip pricing".
Wh-what????? No DH? No broker "backhaul" expected to lower the price?
    No, I haven't been drinking.......yet

    You sure about that?

Maybe the customer has been drinking?

How is the rain up there? Talked to my sister and she said it has been pretty stormy

Threw out an "old days" ton/mi number to get the negotiations started. We'll see who needs a drink after that.

Wettest winter on record- something like 30" since Dec. Yesterday was like a hurricane. Should have stayed in Cal.

Oh, I heard the 1200 showed up last week. Well, most of it.....

I'll try to get the full story this week from my buddy that hauls out of there regular, I didn't have any crayons & paper when I saw him Friday (he drives dump truck) and he was "in a hurry".
