Haha I was, now I'm sitting in Texarkana getting some BBQ

 

Must be the slope in the hood. I only got 3.35 pulling a 113 foot bridge beam yesterday for 250 miles and then 100 miles today before fueling. Guess the boss should buy an aero truck.

 

That way you can get started on that 5 million miles you need to run in your career. At you're current rate, it's going to take you 84 years to complete 5000000 miles. Everybody knows that all the real truck drivers run 5 million miles.

 

In a year right. lol

 

You just need a nose cone for the beam.

 

Lol. Some days l drive less than 100 miles to unload but it ends up being a 12 to 14 hour days. Took 3.5 hours to load 5 trucks and 6 hours to get there all on 2 lanes at 131 feet total. Drive 30 to 100 mile then stop to start the pony motor, around the corner you go only to stop agsin to get the dolly lined up again an shut the motor down.

 

And some helium to make it lighter.

 

Getting 6.6 mpg today. With a tailwind and some whole lot of nutin on the deck. Head in back home. Just can't bring myself to pay for a load.

 

I know the feeling

Going to load up myself tomorrow and go as far as Barstow

Then onto Phoenix on Thursday if nothing comes up.

Had one of My pilot cars guys call me today to see what happened to me...cause they hadn't heard from me since Christmas

At least Someone cares

 

Kind of like a wife, concerned when they haven't gotten any money from you in awhile.
