The last time we moved the batch plant for asphalt and I think there is one set on the crushing equipment.

When you're as good and fast as Mac, you just power slide it up there sideways and get moving. Nobody's got time for side loading.

Hey now! I resemble that remark!
My phone didn't ring! Calgary is a little far away for lunch, but I wouldn't be hard to convince for a road trip for a big ole steak supper and a few too many...
Next time your up Edmonton way, you can park that pretty truck at my shop and we'll make up for it.

Arrive at load site and sit for almost 4 hours because the machine won't run - cat mechanic arrives and does his magic.

Get the machine loaded after they built 100' of crane mats to get it to my trailer. Pick up the trailer and put air to it, uh oh. My 110k load has grown and weighs over 130k.
No way I can scale it - guess they chose not to add the weight for the bucket, hyd thumb, or coupler and cylinders. Yes in the real world all the parts count.

Had to unload that machine and reload one with attachments or bucket.

Long day and missed afternoon curfew, so zero miles today.

And yet our sales team and brokers still don't understand why I insist on pictures of used equipment before I head to pick up said machine. It is so rare that everything is as described...

Almost went and loaded a load out of dundock. But decided at the last minute I couldn't bring myself to work for pennies. Glad I held out.
