When the IRS took over the Mustang Ranch you were guaranteed to get screwed one way or the other!

 

Not only can you pick it up there, you can spend it there! that would be one place I wouldn't leave with it lol

 

I saw a documentary on the guy who started the Mustang Ranch and all his dealings with it. When the Irs took it over, it never made a profit to pay back on the tax lien. They sold it at auction and the new owners moved it across I80
Never did reclaim it's old glory days so to speak
Plus the old owner Joe I believe was his name, he gave out food at Thanksgiving and Christmas times to people
His tax dollars filed the coffers of the county when he was running it. Now the county is almost broke

He's doing good. working for underground construction now. they just happened to start up a job in Redding so he is home every night for awhile. I'll be around a lot more now so I would love to meet up for those ####tails!.
