Well if I had a direct route probably around 100 miles give or take, the way I'm routed it closer to 200.

Oh she's a jag, I three point blocked it to spread out the load concentration. I have to take some more blocks Tuesday for the house, I turned a few into toothpicks so I need some better ones to travel with.

Yea nothing worse than having your blocking blow out mid trip. Had that happen years ago with a crane house.
Got parked at the Petro in Weatherford Tx. Was doing my walk around and noticed my rear chains loose. I'm like huh. Then I look and see my blocking was blowing apart, a couple phones calls for new blocking and begging the shop for 2 20 ton jacks and was fixed up.. I really got lucky. But jacking up a crane house was not a whole lot of fun

Ran into a guy in Fort Mac a few years ago that had all plastic blocking.
All sizes up to 14" by 16".
Hard as rock but heavy as hell.
You could see indents from the frames biting in.
But no splitting and not effected by weather .
He claimed it cost him over 4 grand for all of it.and keeps it locked up in a storage box on the wagon.

He also said it's real slippery on icy rails till you get the weight on.
Pricey alternative but a guy would only have to buy it once.

    AModelCat and MJ1657 Thank this.

I carry a couple of these, saved my bacon more than once being able to pick stuff up. Lately we've been using the set I have on these disassemble/reassemble moves & the guy that runs the beam said "that's cool!" & bought one from me. It's amazing what they will pick up just off truck air. This one is a 26.5t.

Yea the time it happened I was a company driver. I just got that multi axle and it was the third ld . I had ever pulled on a multi axle. Talk about a learning curve. I now have a 20 ton jack.
Those in the pic. They are mini air bag jacks correct. I know a guy who said had a set and loved them. I have never in person seen any, but they sound great

    4mer trucker Thanks this.
