Big Loads - Post Photos Number 2

My first thought was the Wyoming POE where they want to look at your load before handing over the permit?

Where would you "hide" them at? On the middle of the crane deck with a brand new 2 inch strap and play dumb truck driver?

Had a driver load in Houston. 5 axles, but couldn't get the weight right. Came back to the yard for a 3 axle rgn. He brings the piece to the yard, heavy on the drives. I flip the neck down for him. I noticed the piece had 4 crates banded on.

Six: You know this is a divisible load?
Driver: Huh?
Six: This is a divisible load. Those crates can come off.
Driver: I'm loading this for another driver.

He dropped the load and split. The other driver got the load and made it all the way up to the Wyoming POE, where they had to wait for another truck.

 

I was gunna lay my tarps and dunnage around and over. Done it before. I know my day is coming on that
