Big Loads - Post Photos Number 2

No, actually we're bringing them two spares to Tar Island...third year in a row Suncor has made a purchase from Joy Global last minute, get it delivered before Christmas/year end. Last year I brought a dipper and got to the shop 10 minutes before Christmas travel cutoff. Nothing like trucking under a schedule at 15'5W x 15'6"H! Delivered that one on the 28th.

Was talking to a buddy this morning. He's in Whitehorse heading for Inuvik. It was only -4C/25F up there...mother nature hates me!

I would not be going anywhere in that BS. Is Texas running their one plow truck sanding?

 

The pickup just left Galveston where they loaded up the sand. There are 2 guys in the back spreading it along the road as they drive.

Both me and the truck have our long underwear on...bring it on Mother Nature!
I expect to be unloaded and pouring whiskey at the shop Friday night! I might even start dropping the tranny on Saturday...
