He worked for the phone company up there. Strange guy in a way. Real cheap arse also. He is retired now.

 

And I know a guy from Inuvik. He owned a bar there called Frostys..

 

You sure know alot of guys that own bars all over the world!??

 

I'm impressed, most Americans don't even know where Inuvik is, let alone a bar owner from up there!
Only bar I've been to in Inuvik was the Zoo...if I told that story, the post would be deleted for sure!

 

Well he ended up selling it. Him and his partner had a big conflict of interest.
Well when you used to spend alot of time in bars that happens. Funny thing the 2 I just posted about, I met in Thailand lol

 

Hammer, isn't that one of the bars owned by a group of guys, that if you got banned one of their bars you got banned from all the ones they owned up there

 

I've never heard that, but I've never lived up there just visited...

 

Yea that's kinda how Frosty's got started.. He also had "peelers" up there, until the bible thumpers came up there and was protesting in front of the bar
