    One of the locals wants me to price building 3 of these for his trailer, wonder what he's up to? He's being all secret squirrel about it.

    I call them Pontoons. I have a pair of them. That is a pretty wide one, looks like homemade job, They are typically only a foot wide.
    Aspen sells them for about $4000 a pair.
    They are for loading loads that require a base to sit on, like a vessel, but you require the tare weight of a rail

    We used to have a set on a lightweight beam to set 4100 Manitowocs on, helped a lot for stability the trailers we useless but stable.

    We call them floating floors.
    5' section,fits over the beams,and where the wheels would sit its dished out to lower the height.
    And once again,I can't find the pics.
