    JD, I have used a dozen tie plates and placed them individually under each prong while loading. Its a big help to have someone on the ground moving them as you are loading, but I have done it alone. Also used 3' sections of aluminum frame rail. The only good thing about moving trash compactors was that I charged a 4 hr. minimum and the local landfill was 5 miles from the Cat shop.

    Thought I'd share this pic here. This is the S. Yuba River, 10 miles north of Nevada City, CA. on hwy 49, about 1/2 hr from my place. This was taken in the last couple days from the newer bridge.
