I'm not running heavy haul, but I can see your point of view.

I was also told if I'm going to stack blocks that I should use 4 in a crib pattern instead of just one on top of another one

There seems like no end to what I can learn from you guys. Each person has a little bit (or a lot) to pass on. Thanks

When we had to block it was mostly with 12x12 blocks. The steel they had was old railroad nail plates. The plates they drove the spikes through.

Not really big, but I thought it was worth a post. Just because @johndeere4020 should appreciate it! Plus big tires are always cool! image.jpeg

I heard a rumour today that ATS bought 51% of Q-Line based out of Saskatoon Saskatchewan.... can't find anything online about the deal.

    Oxbow and johndeere4020 Thank this.

Oh crap, I saw a trk Wens that had Ats on the doors, but Canada plates. Was Waylen or something like that. Didn't talk to the driver. I believe it's a company they bought out years back

    Oxbow Thanks this.

@passingthru69 it went pretty smooth. Mis-timed curfew in "West-By God" as y'all called it so I was kinda pissed there but still got it off Thursday morning 9 am. So it loaded Thursday....sat with it until Saturday and went back and forth with broker and customer until they adjusted the rate for height. So really a 4 day run. Bounced to Maryland and Friday picked up a 1974 D8 and dropped it in NC Saturday afternoon.
