The thing we have to remember is this is projected by the news media. They are saying this load didn't have a permit. You and I are thinking, "No one would try to bootleg a half a million pound megahaul up Interstate 95!" That's like trying to play 1,2,3 redlight on Normandy Beach during D-Day!

There would have been arrests, warrants, federal DOT people cramming into the office to slap all the deskjockeys around, and their operating authority would have been suspended or revoked. Something else is going on, I'd wager.

 

I like that their excuse is because they were in a rush to get the move completed.
