Picked this Armadillo up from the factory & delivered it to the customer.

Legal height & length, 12' wide, 80,000 lbs.

Then after delivering that got a call to rush back to town to do another power only load, hauled 29,000 pounds of tools out to a well in West Texas that was leaking & threatening to blowout.

Sat on the site all day, on the clock, then hauled it back. A total of 4 trucks, the other 3 picked up theirs 4-6 hours earlier than me & I still got there before they did. Seems the other drivers didn't understand that it was a time critical load & decided to goof off on their way out there. I only made the stops required by DOT for the 30 minute break & load checks.

Worked out for me as the people in charge guaranteed me more work in the future. I'll gladly drop what I am doing to accommodate them if possible.

Time critical work pays real good.

 

Just finished loading this one up, fixing to drop trailer here and bobtail back to truck stop to get a shower then head back over in morning to hook back to trailer and head out with pilot car

 

all lded up and rocked out. Poor Rontonio got the bigger piece. But he has the new trk and newer trl.
