    Thanks!

You know how it is...when I screw up it is always in epic fashion.

    Still no N.C. permit

And now the agent is saying I may have an issue getting an AR permit with the oil in the transformer

Information that would have been good to know before permits

    Oh
Just heard have to revise TN and go into MS and then LA

SAR, Oxbow and cke Thank this.

More miles - more money. Oh the headaches of being a real truck driver. Your job isn't for me and I am glad that somebody does it.

Is why Not everyone who wants to do it is actually cutout for Heavy Haul...
These occurrences are actually somewhat expected by us. Not appreciated, expected. Most of our commodities are not "inventoried" so QC issues happen all the time, and because they never have another one in inventory, we get the pleasure of waiting patiently for it to be corrected. Just another 5 days in the life of...
If you don't have the patience to spend one month on one load that should take 5-6 days, DON'T try getting into this line of work. This is why we abhor the rate cutters, cause they aren't smart enough to see these things coming and think that "I know my costs". No you don't...

Well all of that isnt a real turn off. If its apart of the game its just something ill have to deal with.
How often does it take a month to do a 5/6 day load?
Is that just something you and @Rontonio face because you guys usually haul bigger / heavier loads?
I guess what im trying to ask is if someone pulling a smaller trailer like a 55 ton would have the same issues.. with an OW load not a OD load

Arkansas treats the load as reducible- I.e. you can relatively easily reduce the amount the load is overweight by draining the oil without damaging the product. Like some states require attachments be removed from construction equipment or ladders from fire trucks etc.

    Yes I have made progress
