I'm not judging or looking down on you honestly but speaking from experience doesn't the LTL business bore you to death? I tried it and it drove me nuts.

I can understand why some would feel that way. The money, an assigned truck, and a bid run in an area I like are in my mind a big deal. What was driving ME nuts was seeing that much of Washington DC and northern VA.
Here’s some more pics...
An Ingersoll-Rand dirt roller on a 50 Ton Talbert.
953 Cat, also on the Talbert.
A mini-crane on a Landoll tilt deck...
A Volvo A35 off road dump truck, on the 35 Ton Fontaine...
A telescoping flat stretched out to about 65 feet, with concrete paving equipment.
I took this one in the dark, at the eastern terminus of I-70, so forgive the quality. This is a 300 LC6 Komatsu excavator on the Fontaine.

Well here is a picture of today’s adventure. Let’s just say I absorbed a bunch of knowledge in the form of pain and misery in my efforts today. Just a tip - when you get a new peice of equipment - the little things will bite you in the assssss.
Poured rain sleeted and spit snow all day today. Got the pleasure of re-shimming the deck and the booster loaded today. Yes would rather be kicked in the jewels and be lectured on heavy haul form that x1 dude than shim the deck loaded.
Only had to block under the tires 4 separate times.
Still have to finish chaining down, scale again and clean up my lumber yard in the morning then I can sight see on the super scenic routes I have through AR and OK and IL and maybe TN if they ever issue me a permitMartinFromBC, stwik, Landincoldfire and 14 others Thank this. -

Well
I still need to scale it - again
I am 77k empty and the machine was supposed to weigh 111k
So when I loaded it on my west coast trailer - I maxed out the walking beam travel and ended up 62500 on the trailer tridem and like 25850 on the booster tandem. Technically not possible on a west coast 60/40 except when you turn it into an east coast trailer by mashing the the front of the walking beam against the stops.
So here is what I think it will weigh - after re-shimming the deck and booster to change the rear deck height to allow travel on the walking beam -
15000
39000
39750
51000
34500
179750
So I think the machine is lighter than they said
Or
When I weigh it tomorrow- I will cry a lot
