Well I delivered the dozer this morning and then went and picked up this manlift. Now it is not a big load by any means but it is the largest boom I have see on one of these. To give it some perspective, the deck of the trailer is 28' and the axle spacing is 60" and the basket is 1/2 way past the second bolster.
I know I did not need 1/2" chain but since this was only 6 miles away, I threw them in the bucket well instead of back on the truck. Plus, all my 3/8" are like 20' long. -

Don't feel bad, I am the #######.
I know better and have to live with shame

What? no posts for 2 days in the HH section? Took this yesterday at Blue Canyon W/B, Donner Pass. Was moving our 325 (with a compaction wheel hidden under the house) from Truckee down to Auburn. Stopped at the brake check & did my infrared thermometer check of all the brake drums temperature then headed on down. 15 minutes later the jakes clutch switch quits. Havnt been on a hill like this without jakes since 1972? maybe? 30 yr. old truck & 30 yr old trailer makes one think of what else could break? Found a place to get stopped, bypassed the switch & on my way. Jakes in my mind are still the best thing to happen to the trucking industry. Those who never were without them dont know what you're missing. I always think of the REAL old timers that came off hills with nothing but a low gear and a prayer..

Not pulling or pushing this thing but for the past 2 nights have been hauling a forklift around in support of this thing for Mammoet.
Left South Houston, TX Thursday night & made it to Deer Park on Hwy 225. Last night, Friday, from Deer Park over the Fred Hartman bridge on 146 in Baytown where it sits until Saturday night when we take it on in to Mont Belvieu, TX.
350' long, 23'8" tall, 22' wide, 650,000 pounds.
Had some ignorant twit run into the back of one of our police motorcycle escorts. How she missed all the flashing lights is beyond me. -

Yeah, we had a Schnauble get hit up in Minnesota years ago. Guy went through 2 HPs, and 3 civilian pilot cars to hit the Schnauble. The impact killed his wife. And this Darwin winner swore up and down he didn't see it. In the US, drivers licenses are rewards that the States hand out for people being stupid.
