We run a non steerable, at All we ran steerables with 425 floats and that’s what my next one will have.

Interesting what part of 70? I’ve never been denied 80,000 in Ohio.

Interesting, we have trouble when we exceed 20,000 per axle. There’s bridges in can cross with 159,500 permit that our other truck can’t with a 127,600 permit. We thought it was strange that the heavier load was allowed a certain direction and the lighter wasn’t until we figured out that the difference was the axle load.

I would just prefer not to deal with a stinger. But I would give on that to have standard weights and uniform axle spacings.

Stingers do suck, before Ohio changed we ran them in a 2+1 setup to get 120,000. In my line of work they suck.

I’d imagine. I also imagine it’s much easier to pop pins on a stinger than it is on a flip.

Somewhat but still a pain. Backing in job sites was the worst.

Need one of the new Blackhawk trailers hydraulic flip stingers. Cool setup. Buddy has one air actuated pins and just flip a lever and your ready to roll or backup. Only drawback I see is price. His payment is $2000 per month on just a trailer !!

Feedman, Humblepie, SAR and 3 others Thank this.

You can raise the nitrogen stingers off the ground.

Feedman, Humblepie, SAR and 3 others Thank this.
