    Not a fan of them.
Their lift system has too much above deck height .
Doesn't work well with lowrider equipment like rollers and pavers. You need to use way too many blocks compared to my trail king.

In CT far as I have seen, 55+ ton units have 2 plates. Have to have lifts on the rear axles to get them off the ground while traveling empty and still need permits for running empty.

I never pulled or permitted one- just what I’ve seen and what the guys running them have told me for CT.

I would have thought 2 lifted would. Make it STAA legal.

Between drunken gambling sessions last week I kinda thought about the same thing. To be able to haul a real lightweight oversized tank outa California. Only way I could do it would be to get the 2nd and 3rd axle off the ground.
I'd have to move the leveling valve to the front axle or install a regulator quick and dirty. Chain both axles up.

With the amount of arch I got empty it wouldn't work though. The front axle would be maxed the fork out on travel and the rear just barely off the ground. The only way I can get the rear lifted is to max out the center and chain up the front also.

    Defeated the purpose for California.

Yup. $750 he said. Wish he’d told me what time in advance. I got him in the next time without a issue.

It may well be: CT has that KPRA restriction on trailers over 48’ tho, so more often than not a setup like that would still be over the KPRA limit with 1 up.

They have some real gay laws over this way: in regards to a lot of things, not just trucking.

Most like mine have a two hole king pin. In the back hole it’s legal.

There is a lot that goes into adding weight to a trailer. Like we said does it have fenders, is it reinforced for just a flip or a flip/stinger. Closed center or open center. Tire size will affect wgt. Well length, pony motor. Centrifuse drums or normal drums. A lot of small things can add up fast to make a big variance
