You've got that right MJ, that @Al. Roper is one heck of a guy in my books! I know I'd REALLY appreciate some one doing that for me.

 

Yeah, had to circle a couple times...too many idjits taking more room than they needed. Oh yeah, and I was dead tired...I pulled the yellow button, shut the key off, started Jenny, & went straight to bed anyway...
First of all I bought it used, so it is what it is. The tandem-tandem setup in most places you can permit more weight, 90,000 (45k & 45k) vs 80,000 (60k & 20k) on a tri-single so that helps. So between 5k weight savings with my rail & the 10k that can give me 15k more payload. Also CA 9's are basically foolproof, just don't forget to remove the traveling blocks & they balance. We also used to do a lot of CA work and CA doesn't allow the atypical AB/BC style tri-single or tri-tandem (10), which has just helped me out. I just unloaded, 5 guys ahead of me in "the list" & I'm off to Cali because nobody else can...
If I was buying new I'd do something radically different, but this one is paid for & as I'm sure you're aware the new provincial flag of AB is For Sale. So for now, this is what I'm gonna run. Thankfully I got cold feet & cancelled the 13 I've been spec'ing and placed a deposit on this spring! I'd be flying one of those flags too...
There are all kinds of other pros & cons for tri-single vs CA vs tri-tandem, but we'll drink Crown & debate them. No trailer is perfect, everything is a compromise.

I've seen people get hit in parking lots and some driver runs up to the person and tells them about the hit, but when asked about info on the offending moron, the driver says, "that ain't my job."
